Teeth Whitening

 It’s common to catch your reflection and notice your smile isn’t quite as bright as it used to be. Years of coffee and red wine take their toll gradually, without you ever really noticing until one day you do. Professional teeth whitening lightens those stains well beyond what over-the-counter kits can manage, using a stronger bleaching agent applied under our supervision so results come faster and more evenly. Some patients notice mild sensitivity in the days following treatment, which is normal and typically fades quickly. Since whitening addresses surface stains rather than the tooth itself, results aren’t permanent, so most patients return for a touch-up every year or so to keep their smile at its brightest.

Veneers

A chipped or heavily stained tooth has a way of catching your eye in every photo, even when nothing else about the picture bothers you. If that sounds familiar, veneers might be the fix you’re looking for. They’re wafer-thin porcelain shells that we bond to the front surface of your teeth to reshape how your smile looks, custom-made to match the shape and shade of your natural teeth so the result blends in rather than looking obviously artificial. The process typically takes a couple of visits, starting with a small amount of preparation on the tooth surface, followed by a precise fitting once your veneers are ready. Many patients tell us it’s one of the more dramatic transformations we offer.

Bonding

Dental bonding takes a lighter touch than veneers, using tooth-coloured composite resin applied directly to the tooth to fix small chips, close minor gaps, smooth a rough edge, or camouflage a stubborn patch of discolouration. There’s little to no removal of existing tooth structure involved, and, in many cases, the entire treatment is finished in a single visit. Bonding won’t hold up quite as long as porcelain veneers, and it’s more prone to staining over time, but it remains one of the most affordable ways to correct a minor cosmetic concern without committing to a bigger procedure.

Botox

Most people know Botox for softening fine lines, but dentists also use it in ways that have nothing to do with wrinkles. Many patients come to us because clenching or grinding has left their jaw muscles sore and overworked, and a series of small injections can ease that tension considerably. It’s also used to adjust a smile that shows more gum tissue than a patient would like, relaxing the muscle just enough to bring the balance of lips and teeth into better proportion. Treatment is quick and requires no downtime, so most patients go straight back to their day afterward. Results generally last three to four months, and we’ll keep track of your schedule so we can give you a call when it’s about time to come back in.
